Figure and Bikini Competition day checklist

It is important to have a checklist so you are not forgetting anything on show day. It’s best to be prepared in advance than getting things done last minute and not being able to focus on your show.

Make your appointments in advance, ladies! You do not want to risk leaving things to the last minute. Make sure you get a waxing appointment done, I would not recommend shaving. Hair, nails and makeup appointment for show day and of  course your tanning appointment. Don’t forget to exfoliate a couple days before your spray tan appointment.

We’ve put together a list of things that we think you may find are essential for show day.

• Make sure your suitcase is packed the night before.
• Bring a rolling bag so you don’t have to carry a bag over your shoulder and ruin your tan.
• Your Competition Bikini or Figure Suit. I recommend having a spare suit just in case. With the splendid suit quality from CompetitionSuitShop. You have nothing to worry about but if you have a spare suit, it never hurts to have one extra in your bag.
• Robe to wear backstage. If you don’t already have one, you can get one at an affordable price. We crystallize your name/logo for you as well. Get your own Robe today.
• Accessories for stage: Earrings, Rings and Bracelets.
• Stage shoes/ heels.
• Fitflops to roam around in while wearing to get on stage.
• Loose fitting clothing to chill in.
• Post competition outfit: An outfit to wear after the show in case you decide to for out for dinner with friends and family to celebrate.
• Food and drinks that you will need for show day and a cooler to keep it in.
• Hair and Makeup products for final touch up.
• Bikini Bite to keep your suit in place.
• Pee cups: This is important, you don't want any splash marks. Any liquid splash can leave marks on your spray tan.
• Contact lens, if you need them.
• Tampons are a must have. You never know when you might need them. It’s always better to be safe.
• Pump up bands.
• Stand up mirror to see how awesome you look.
• Bed sheets, pillowcase and blanket  in case you are staying over at a hotel so you are not ruining their sheets. Hotels may charge you if their sheets are ruined.
• Sewing kit for any mishaps.
• Phone and charger to capture the experience.
• Essential oils and gloves.
• Hair brush / comb.
• Towels, bring them even if you are staying at a hotel. You don’t want to use theirs because your tan can get on it and the hotel will charge you for ruining it.
• A laundry bag to put all your dirty clothes in it.
• Hair Spray and Dry shampoo. You will not be able to shower after you get your tan on.
• This may sound like a weird one but trust me, it’s a pro tip, get some Vaseline to apply on your teeth so you are smiling on stage.
• Lastly, your print outs: tickets/ registration for show, itineraries, plane and travel details, hotel reservations etc. Prepare all your documents so you can have a relaxed and a stress free time.

After you have everything ready, just relax and bring your A-game to the show!
